Dunmore East Woods comprise 42 acres of woodland, divided into four distinct areas: the Main Woods, John Michael’s Wood, Lacey’s Wood and Foillakipeen Wood — known locally as “Madman’s Wood”.

The woodland is a rich mixture of conifers and deciduous trees. Among them you will find Wild Cherry, Silver Birch, Common Lime, Scots Pine, Rowan and Yew, many planted as part of the recent Neighbourhood planting scheme.
